An award-winning multi-instrumentalist and composer hailing from the Mexican border. She has performed in stages worldwide like South Africa, Malaysia, Canada, USA, France, Austria, Colombia, Costa Rica, Argentina and Dominican Republic. She has been a fellow of the National (México) Arts Fund for Traditional Musicians and she was selected for the OMI International Artist Residence in New York.
